Typical Control / Supervision Circuits: by Y. K. Pandharipande

The document describes several typical control and supervision circuits used in electrical systems, including: 1) A typical control panel layout and circuit arrangement. 2) A local/remote control and protection trip circuit. 3) An anti-pumping circuit for circuit breakers. 4) Metering circuits. 5) Trip circuit supervision using coils to provide pre-close and post-close monitoring. 6) VT fuse supervision circuits to detect secondary fuse failures and block tripping. 7) A VT supervision scheme using voltage balance detection to monitor primary and secondary fuses.
