What is Share/stock/equity ?
Shares represent a fraction of ownership in a business. The common feature of all these is equity
participation. Different classes of shares have different voting rights.
Ownership of shares is documented by a legal document that specifies the amount of shares
owned by the shareholder, and other specifics of the shares, such as the par value or the class of
the shares (if any).
These days these stock certificates have been dematerialized.(No physical document!)

According to securities regulation act, 1956 :-
Stock exchange is defined as an association , organization , or a individual which is
established for the purpose of assisting , regulating , and controlling business in buying
,selling and dealing in securities.
Provides service to stock brokers & traders to trade stocks ,bonds and securities.
Stock exchanges helps the companies to raise their fund.

Stock Exchanges in India
There are 22 stock exchanges in India. But, two of them are biggest.
NSE (National stock exchange) - is the 9th largest stock exchange in
the world by market capitalization and largest in India by daily turnover
and number of trades, for both equities and derivative trading.
Stock indexes are S&P CNX Nifty, CNX Nifty Junior, S&P CNX 500
Technical analysis
Forecasting the future direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and
volume. In its purest form, technical analysis considers only the actual price and volume behaviour of the
market or instrument.
FINDINGS
for investment, stock market is a great opportunity.
Technical analysis is a particular approach to investing.
The tool they use for making predictions is the chart.
Technical analysis and fundamental analysis are two very different approaches, but one does not
completely exclude the other.
