    Definition : an inflammation the uveal tract
    Divided :
    a. antrior uveitis : iritis & iridocyclitis
    b. intermediate uveitis : inflammation in the
    vitreous and peripheral retina
    c. posterior uveitis : inflammation in the posterior
    to the vitreous base:retinits, choroiditis, vasculitis.
    d. panuveitis : diffuse uveitis implies involvement of the
    entire uveal tract
    e. endophthalmitis: implies inflammation, purulent,
    involving all intraocular tissue exept the sclera
    Uveitis with mydriatics

    Acute bacterial endophthalmitis

    Incidence - about 1:1,000 organisms
    Staph. epidermidis
    Staph. aureus

    Late onset, persistent, low-grade

    Treatment of chronic endophthalmitis

    Initially good response to topical


    steroids

    Perdarahan dalam Bilik Mata Depan


    Etiology :
    - trauma
    - spontan pada :
    -rubeosis iridis
    -glaukoma absolut
    Hifema Traumatik

    Trauma tumpul yang mengenai corpus ciliaris


    Bila tidak ada riwayat trauma, adanya hifema pada anak-anak, harus
    diduga adanya kemungkinan leukemia, hemofilia, retinoblastoma atau
    child abuse.
    Hyfema spontan pada orang dewasa dapat terjadi karena adanya
    neovaskularisasi pada iris, leukemia, limfoma maligna, tumor
    intraocular, hipertensi, penggunaan antikoagulan.
    Komplikasi durante operasi
    dapat menghilang dalam beberapa hari..

    Grading hifema didasarkan pada banyaknya darah dalam COA.


    Bahaya rebleeding : hari kedua sampai kelima
    Komplikasi hyfema : Glaukoma sekunder, hemosiderosis

    APA YANG DAPAT DILAKUKAN


    Penderita harus dirawat / dirujuk ke RS.
    Bedrest total dan Tidur dengan bantal tinggi (elevasi 30-
    45 derajat)
    Bebat kedua mata
    Obat-obat antifibrinolitik diberikan bila perdarahan
    kurang dari 50%
