Glossarium
GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) is one of the
indicators used to measure an economic condition in
region. Regional income data is one of macro indicators
that describe the condition of national economy every
year
Sources regional income is classified into three types:
1. Pure regional income
2. Balance Budget
3. Others revenue

The Fact of Jakarta

Jakartas economic during 2012-2016 shows a


positive development. In the midst of the unstable
recovery global economic conditions, declining value
of rupiah, high inflation and even government
transition period, Jakartas economy still able to grow
above the national growth. Jakarta as the center of
government and business administration, so on the
high of citizens purchasing power was able to boost
Jakartas economy exceeds the national economic
growth.
GRDP at constant prices 2010 by expenditure
period 2012-2016 (billion Rp)
Along the increase of Jakartas GRDP at current
prices, Jakartas GRDP at constant prices 2010 also
continues to increase. As an indicator that can
describe the production or output development,
Jakartas GRDP always shows a positive growth every
year. The structure of Jakartas economy over the
past four years hasnt changed significantly. The
consumption of Jakartas people has always
contributed the largest proportion of Jakartas
economy. In 2016 most of Jakartas GDRP is used to
supply Houselhold consumption (konsumsi rumah
tangga) and gross fixed capital information (PMTB)
Fact: Trend of Household
Consumption Expenditure
Jakarta peoples purchasing power is quite hight. This
happens due to growth of economic sectors that
encourages consumption increase. The public
optimism in seeing the economic condition remains
awake, it also trigger household consumption to
grow faster.

Development of Gross Fixed
Capital Formation
Gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) (as you can see
in the table before) component is one the biggest
contributor components in total GRDP.
GFCF include the building or construction cost,
machinery and equipment, expansion or new
planting, and addition of livestock or poultry
mantaines. It can be said as a description pf
products and services that partly used for physical
investment (capital)
