Improved Efficiency

Although this surfactant is

an efficient remover of oil
based mud solids when
used as a wash pill, it is
less effective as a strong
wetting agent in
displacement spacers.
This test shows mud
solids clearly still present
after 5 minutes rotation at
100 rpm in a 8% v/v
surfactant viscosified pill
at ambient temperature

SAFE-SURF OE is a
powerful and effective water
wetting agent, which makes
it ideal for hi-vis
displacement pills. As it is a
nonionic surfactant, it can
even be used in moderate
calcium environments

The Seal n Peel system was

initially designed as a fluid loss
pill to kill flow inside the
completion assembly almost
instantaneously (i.e., very low
volumes required).
Development work (including the
use of a specially constructed
simulator) produced a highly
efficient system, including
an additive (SAFE-PEEL) that
enhances clean-up when
pill is produced back.
