Tree Structure For Subordination

This document discusses subordination and coordination in sentence structure. Subordination involves combining an independent clause with a dependent clause, while coordination combines two independent clauses. There are three main types of subordinate clauses: noun clauses, adjective clauses, and adverb clauses. Several examples of sentences containing subordinate clauses are provided, and readers are asked to underline the subordinate clause and identify its type in sentences. Trees are also presented as a way to diagram the structure of sentences.
