    The most common types of applications
    software are:
    Word processors: are the programmes used
    for creating, editing and printing documents.
    Spreadsheets:are documents which are
    divided into rows and columns to record such
    things as items in inventory, income and
    expenses, debits and credits.
    Other type of application software
    are:
    Databases: A database is a collection
    ofinformationthat is organized so that it
    can easily be accessed, managed, and
    updated.
    Game applications: videogames which are
    played in a computer.
