Technical writing involves the creation of useful


documents that can be clearly understood by readers.
Technical Writing

When carrying out a technical writing assignment, you must


remember to ask yourself the following three Cs:
Is it clear?
Is it concise?
Is it complete?

Straight forward and to the point is always best.


Who is your audience?
Your supervisor and
researchers engaged
in work similar to
your work

Colleagues and other


researchers (broadly
in your field).

Researchers in
related fields,
interested in your
work.
