Each Data Object type has a distinctive Object Properties dialog that gives
you the ability to change the display characteristics of elements within each
Data Object independently.
The General tab contains options for the
general display of all points, polylines,
labels and surfaces contained within the
Geometry Object.
Options are also available to enable the
object to be selected, sliced or clipped
The Points, Polylines, Surfaces,

Geometry Objects are used for the creation, storage and edit of all point,
polyline, polygon, surface and solid data (Elements) and are commonly the
most used of all the Data Objects.
Materials govern how elements within a geometry object are displayed.
Upon creation Geometry objects have a default material type called
Geometry that defines how all elements within the Geometry object are
displayed .
You can attribute elements with unique Material types by one of two ways.
Materials can be attributed at either the;
13.1) Element level, - specific to individual elements (points, polylines or
solids), or at the,
13.2) Geometry Object level - applying a single Material to all elements
The former suits geometry objects containing numerous points, polylines and
solid objects of differing colour and line-style, whereas the latter suits Geometry
Objects with a small number of similar elements only.
