The core business of the shop is to provide
high standard spectacles, lenses and all
other accessories related to the eye.

Core competency:
The core competency of this shop is that the
owner of the shop is certified optometrist.

Objectives of Information System

To increase the efficiency of the process and minimize


any error that can occur in the manual system.
To reduce the paper work as it is difficult to keep record
of customers information on papers.
To make information sharing more easy and accurate.

Description of information System

The system needed to develop and get information


system operational in the shop does not require and
sophisticated machines or software.
The hardware that is required to run the information
system is Pentium four and a Microsoft office package
installed.
There is not any training required to run the system.
