Initial Ideas
Idea 1- Rhianna Walsh
Thriller subgenre- Psychological thriller
Intended Target Audience - 18+
Location- Hospital
Idea: It is about a young girl who has had
issues ever since she was little. She is now an
older girl and is on her way home from work
as she begins talking to herself and the
people around her are looking at her weirdly.
All of a sudden she blacks out and faints, we
then see her at hospital and there are doctors
are beside her bed asking if she has had her
medication but all she can hear is voices in
her head. When she was a young girl she
went through stage where she was bullied
and had no friends and therefore decided to
have an imaginary friend. Her parents try and
be there for her but it is not enough, she then
starts to act upon this at night time and get
possessed by this person she invented when
she was younger.

Settings-In a dark boring room
Idea- A teenager starts of their day as normal
and gets ready and leaves the house to go to
school, however this day was not like any
normal day for her as she feels a figure
following behind her for most of the journey.
The figure seems to get closer each day for
the next few weeks, then suddenly her days
were taken away from her as she gets
kidnapped and locked into a dark plain room.
Posters were put up of as she was missing,
however her family begin to believe she is
dead. Although they do not realise the torture
and pain their youngest child is still going
through for 30 many years later on. The
family begin to receive post cards 5 years
later and they begin to think someone is
playing tricks on them as they believe their
daughter is dead however they do not begin
to look for her again, so there may be no hope
of their daughter escaping.

Thriller sub genre: Psychological thriller
Intended Target Audience: 15+
Idea: A little girl has a rough childhood. Her
parents died in a car accident when she was
5 years old so she had to go into a foster
home which she hated. In the foster home
she had an imaginary friend which she
always speaks to and plays with. The
workers in the foster home started to
realise that her behaviour was not normal.
The girl is now 17 and still has the
imaginary friend. She now lives with a
foster family which are not nice to her. The
imaginary friend is still there and the girl
claims that it is the one telling her to
misbehave in a bad way. The girls
behaviour gets worse and worse and end
sup hurting herself and other people.

Idea 4 - Beata Rumian


Thriller sub genre: Psychological thriller
Intended Target Audience: 18+
Idea: A young woman named Sonia meets a man
named Kas in a club, who she soon becomes close
friends with. A few months later the man moves to
Italy but remains in contact with Sonia. Everything
seemed to be going great and Sonia felt like she
finally found a man she could trust. After some time
of talking over the internet, he invites her over to
Italy. She promptly agrees and they spend a
wonderful weekend and her feelings for the man
grew stronger. But as the time came for Sonia to
return back home, everything changed. Has no
longer resembled the man that she once knew. He
became violent and took all of her documents away
so she could not return back to England. Has forced
her into prostitution and took any money she
earned. Sonia was faced with a whole new world
she did not understand and this film is the story of
how she escaped her captor and returned back
home.

Final Idea
The story we have decided on is about a girl who is struggling
with depersonalisation disorder as well as depression and
anxiety. She has been considered weird all her life, in the film
we see her experiences as a child dealing with the disorders as
well as strange experiences of seeing and hearing things, which
no one believed her were real. As an adult the strange events
get more frequent and she seeks help from a therapist. In the
past she was able to control it and put on a mask in public.
However, as she uncovers more and more about her dark past,
revealing supressed memories from her childhood she begins to
understand what caused her condition and who the voice that
followed her belongs to, as well as what the creatures she sees
are. Maybe its all more real than she thought.

Planning Notes
For the planning of our trailer , the first thing we had to do
was planning notes after we decided on a final idea. This
involved the entire group planning on how the trailer is
going to go.
A trailer is divided into three different sections and we
used yellow sticky notes for the shots and green sticky
notes for titles, special effects, dialogue, etc.

These are our magazine covers which we produced for a thriller
trailer which will be making. We used the main character and
props which will be used in the trailer that will give an insight on
which the film is about however not too much detail about the
film.
