DEFINITION
Drone or known as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) or as a
unmanned aircraft system(UAS), which an aircraft without a
human pilot aboard.
The aircraft may be remotely controlled or can fly autonomously
through software-controlled flight plans in their embedded
systems working in conjunction with GPS.
UAVs have most often been associated with the military but they
are also used for search and rescue, surveillance, traffic
monitoring, weather monitoring and firefighting, among other
things.
FUNCTION OF DRONE

Military
Drones are used in situations where manned flight is considered
too risky or difficult. They provide troops with a 24-hour "eye in the
sky", seven days a week. Each aircraft can stay aloft for up to 17
hours at a time, loitering over an area and sending back real-time
imagery of activities on the ground.
For example, The use of such unmanned aircraft in the Pakistan
as delivering precision strikes until killing hundreds of people in
Pakistan.

simulates an enemy aircraft or missile
