Refining your search strategy
In addition to AND to link the search
terms in your search, you can also use
the Boolean operator OR to search for
synonyms (words that mean the same
thing) or similar concepts, e.g. employee
OR worker. This will retrieve results
containing either (or both) of the search
terms, thus widening your search
It is recommended that you use
Advanced Search when using both AND
and OR.
Advanced search also allows for
searches to be:

document, e.g. author, title, by
