Interview
Interviewee: a current Carowinds Manager
Questions and Answers:
1) What is your general work schedule (weekly and seasonally)?
A) Work schedule depended on what other manager was working, one would work
in the morning from 830-5 and another would come in at 3 and work until close.
The park closes in November so we find other jobs.
1) How many shops or rides do you manage nightly?
A) I worked at 3 stores every day, it was my area, each manager had an area that
was usually 2-3 stores.
1) How many employees do you work with on a daily basis?
A) I usually had 1 employee in each store, maybe 2 in the larger one if it was a busy
Saturday.
1) Do managers work a specific section of the park or do they work based off of
rides and shops?
A) Managers work in the sections we are assigned in the beginning of the season, I
worked in the area that I knew the most about and would produce the most
money because of my knowledge
