In1830,MichelFaradayinEnglandandJosephHenryintheUSA
independentlydiscoveredthatinachangingmagneticfield,achanging
magneticfluxthroughasurfaceboundedbyastationaryloopofwireinduces
acurrentinthewire:emfinducedandinducedcurrent.Thisprocessis
knownasinduction.
