templates

Install and use NPSRawlinsonOT and Adobe


Frutiger Std. These OpenType fonts are
available from the NPS Graphic Identity Program
website at www.graphics.nps.gov.
Keep text to an absolute minimum.
Use photographs, illustrations, simple charts or
graphics to convey key points whenever
possible.
Remember: you the speaker are the focus of the
presentation; the slides should simply illustrate
and compliment the key points of your
presentation.

How these templates are


formatted

The serif typeface NPSRawlinsonOT is used for


slide titles because it provides elegant letterforms
that reinforce the agencys rich graphic history.
The sans-serif typeface Adobe Frutiger Std. is used
for text, bullet items, and captions because of its
open letterforms and readability at smaller sizes.
A black overbar, arrowhead silhouette, and agency
slogan are placed on all slide backgrounds to help
maintain and reinforce the agencys identity.
A medium-speed Fade Smoothly transition has
been assigned to all slides in the Slide Master.
