USING THE LINE TOOL
LINE command is essential to all AutoCAD drawings. It draws a straight- line segment between locations on existing objects, geometric features, or two points that you can choose anywhere within the area. you can designated these points by left-clicking them on the screen By entering the x and y coordinates for each point By entering the distance and angles from the existing point
then you can end the line or draw another line segment beginning from the end of the previous one.
1. Click the new tab icon at the
right end of the File tab interface. This opens the create page of the New Tab interface 2. Under the Start Drawing too. click the disclosure triangle for templates. Select acad.dwt 3. Before you begin drawing anything, first check your drawing aid. Make sure that Polar tracking, Object Snap tracking, Grid display and Object snap are turned off and that all the others are turned OFF 4. From the ribbon, choose home tab and Click LINE tool. you can also start a line by typeing LINE or L in command line and press enter
5. The prompt now tells
you that the LINE command is started. Specify the first point
