A FRIENDLY ADVICE
The test questions are multiple choice type.
Solve the problems carefully and intelligently.
The board examination is not right minus
wrong.(ibig sabihin pwede hula, atin atin lang.
Wag mong ipagsabi. Ooooops, wag kang
umasa sa hula. Gamitin mo ang galing mo,
mag solve ka!)
Take extra care of your answer sheet. Dont
crumple, wet, tear off or expose to heat your
answer sheet.
Dont ever try to cheat or even think of it.
STUDYING TECHNIQUES
Select an ideal place of your choice where
you can concentrate in studying.
Dont overload your brain with too many
formulas.(know your kilobytes capacity.
Hehehe, joke lang, terabytes naman).
Memorizing technique using two major
senses(sight & hearing)was proven effective.
Prepare a systematic schedule for studying
Prepare all the materials needed before
starting the review.
DURING THE
EXAMINATION
Dont be shaken. If you find your confidence
slipping, remind yourself that you are well
prepared. You know the structure of the test.
You know the instructions. Youve studied for
every question type. Even if something goes
really wrong, dont panic. Try to stay calm.
Call the attention of the proctor for anything
that will be of help. Avoid going to the comfort
room. One of the PRC guidelines is to attend
to your personal needs before the start of the
exam. Remember that following you to the CR
is an additional work for the proctors
POST EXAMINATION
ATTITUDE
USING CALCULATOR
1. Use a calculator that you are very familiar
with. Be sure you know how to use the
functions and special features of the model.
2. Remember that you need a scientific
calculator. A non-programmable calculator
is required.
NOTE:
- Not all problems are easier to solve using
calculator. Sometimes manual calculation is
more precise and easier
- Remembering common mathematical
values(e.g. cos 600 = 0.5, cos 00 =1, =
3.1416, etc) enables you to check instantly
whether your calculator malfunctioned or
youve pressed the wrong key
