What is a Goal?
Goals are well-defined
targets.
Goals are personal
statements of what you are
truly willing to do and what
you really want to achieve.
What is a Goal?
Psychological experiments proved that visualization
helps people achieve their goal. It gives extra strength to a
person to perform unfamiliar task. This is called Vision
Therapy.
A developmental study in Harvard University showed
that students who can write down their goals are more
successful than those who did not write them.
What is an Effective Goal?
S - Specific
M - Measurable
A - Attainable
R - Realistic
T - Time bound
Why Goal-Setting is Important?
It gives us direction and
motivation
It increases our potentials
It help us prioritize things and
predicts our future.
Goal Setting is an issue of:
1. Internal self - Personal development and
achievement/s issue
2. Extension of self - Contribution and
inspiration issue
Without a Goal
There will be no Walt Disney and
Disney Land.
There will be no Facebook,
Multiply and Twitter.
There will be no Advancement in
science and technology.
