Chart Patterns Part 1

The document discusses various technical chart patterns used in market analysis including harmonic patterns, geometric patterns, zigzag patterns, price patterns, exotic patterns, event patterns, tops and bottoms, and channels. It then provides more detail on one specific pattern, the ABC pattern, describing it as a harmonic pattern shaped like a lightning bolt that signals a trend, retracement, and trend resumption. It outlines how to identify the A, B, and C pivot points of the pattern using fibonacci retracement levels and how to determine the reversal zone and trade entry, target, and stop loss levels.

Harmonic pattern
ABC Pattern
Pattern fist described by Gartley, pattern is shaped like a lightning bolt and signals a trend, a retracement and the resumption of the trend, Pattern called ABC wave / 1-2-3 pattern, pattern forecast the key market turning point and profit targets, to identify the correct ABC pattern, to find correct A, B and C pivot points in a chart, the key pivot points are found using various pivot strength levels and for its correction wave, Once A, B and C pivots are identified, an auto levels algorithm is applied to determine the confluence level D which called potential reversal zone (PRZ), the C pivot in ABC pattern is determined by fibonacci retracement of 38.2 to 61.8 % of AB swing, the projection of C level is measured using fib-ratio of AB and BC swings,

Trade : Enter a long trade above the previous bars high, Target: 100% of AB range and 127 % BC range. Stop loss: below C level
