Lesson Plan in Math 1

( Grade 1 )

I. Objectives:
In the end of the lesson, 75% of the pupils are able to;
a.) identify the symbols /+/ and /=/ ; b.) add counting numbers ; and c.) relate addition in buying. II. Subject Matter: Four fundamentals of mathematics (addition). Power point presentation. III. Procedure: A. Motivation The teacher introduce the game entitled: The both is sinking .

B. Analysis:

The pupils discover the objectives of the game and eventually know the topic.
C. Lesson Proper: Step one. Using power point presentation the teacher flashes the /+/ and /=/, ask the pupils what they see after the teacher names the sign. Step two. In the other slides the teacher shows four identical objects and the pupils count beside the objects a /+/ appear followed by five identical objects and the pupils count again. After counting the objects it substitute by numbers.

Step three. The teacher point the number four and the pupils name it. Second, the /+/ then the pupils name it again. Lastly, the number five, and the pupils name it. Step four. After naming, the teacher guide the counting of pupils all in all. Step five. The teacher present the /=/ and tell the pupils that all in all counting ( pointing the two sign ) is equal to. ( flashing the number nine ). the teacher shows another example and the pupils read.

C. APPLICATION:
