Industry Overview
 The term "real estate" refers to the land and fixtures together,
as distinguished from "real property," referring to ownership
rights of the land itself
 The real estate sector in India is flourishing rapidly with a
growth rate of 30% each year.
 About 80% of the real estate development in India has been in
the field of residential housing.
 The remaining 20% of the real estate includes office, shopping
malls, entertainment centers, hotels, multiplexes and hospitals.
 India’s booming outsourcing business industry and
consumption-led growth are contributing significantly to its real
estate growth

 Brokerages: Assisting buyers and sellers in transactions


 Development: Improving land for use by adding or replacing
buildings
 Property management: Managing a property for its owner(s)

Overview of The Ffort

 The Ffort is a vision of the Managing Director,


Mr. Harsh Vardhan Neotia. Opened in 1997 as
a landmark in West Bengal
 Today it proudly stands as a piece of art amidst
60 acres of landscaped greenery against the
backdrop of the river Hooghly and a stroke of
blue skyline beyond.
 The resort is constructed on an old fort theme.

To study the various policies/practices of the company


and find out ‘The Ffort Raichak’ employees’ satisfaction
level regarding the policies of the company.
Objective

 To find out the employees satisfaction regarding
the policies of the company & suggest any
recommendations if required.

Findings

 90% of the staff was not aware of the policies of the


company.
 The HR-policies of the company covers mainly the
payroll staff under the various policies while the
FTC staff is not covered under 45% of the policies.
 56% of the total staff is FTC staff, while they are
not covered under the various policies of the
company.
 30% of the staff is outsourced to the KDSP
company.
 43% of the staff comes under the payroll staff.

 56% of the total employees are satisfied by


the policies of the company.
 The rate of attrition in the unit is near about
30% - 35%.
 Employees in the unit get a leave, that is
compensatory off, this leave is provided as a
compensation to the employees for their
work on off days.
Suggestions

 There should be a provision for FTC Staff, those who has


completed three years of regular services with the
company should be considered under the payroll staff of
the company.
 To motivate the employees the company may adopt the
incentive payment scheme.
 The organization should organize more training sessions
or should send the employees to various
workshops/training sessions to get better understanding
about their project
 Employees should be awarded by the
management on the annual meet for the
following and certificates should also be given

 Proper Induction/Orientation of the employees


should be conducted so that he/she gets
familiar with the organization & its work.
