One Dimension QR Code


Introduction of Bar Code
Nowadays, technologies of bar code become widely
used. It is the advantage thing to give us the information
of goods such as names, prize or number of stock, etc.
The majority of the popular bar code is one-dimension
[1D] bar code.
Even though one-dimension bar code are widely
used, it still has limitation of the storage. So capability for
store the information is developed such as increasing
number of bar code digits or laying out multiple bar code.
Thence two-dimension [2D] bar code is in vented.
Type of Two-Dimension[2D] Bar Code
1. Stack Bar Code
• PDF417 → was developed in 1992 by Symbol
Technology in U.S.A. The maximum storage is 2,710
Numeric 1,859 Alphanumeric 1,018 Binary and 554
Kanji.
2. Matrix Bar Code
• Maxi Code → was developed by Oniplanar Company in
U.S.A. The maximum storage is 138 Numeric 93
Alphanumeric.
• Data Matrix → was developed by RVSI Acuity Cimatric
U.S.A. in1989
• QR Code → was developed by Denso Wave Company
of Japan in 1994. QR Code is stand for “Quick Respond
Code”, it mean high speed scan.

The Structure of QR Code

mobile phone for mobile phone. We use 3G system and
