You CAN NOT give your work to somebody else, or submit somebodys work with your name on it. Course staff might use available tools to compare exercises, assignments and projects.

Assignments should be submitted by 11:59 pm on the specified due date Mark deductions

Failing to Submit an Assignment, Final Project, or to Sit for the Midterm
Should a student fail to write the midterm or final exam, the student should contact the student advisor ASAP. The student advisor is the one who decides whether the students excuse is acceptable or not.
For missed assignments and quizzes, please see the professor.
In case of absence from the midterm or missed assignment, there will be no make-up midterm/assignment.

Missed Assessments
The weight of the missed assignment will be moved to the next assignment in the event a student has been unable to complete any quiz/assignment due to illness or any other excuse acceptable by the University. The weight of the midterm or final project will be moved to the final exam in the event a student has been unable to attend the midterm due to illness or any other excuse acceptable by the University.

Grade Appeals
Appeals regarding assignments and project grades should be addressed to the TA first. If you and the TA cannot agree, then you can discuss the situation with the instructor. Appeals for midterm marks must be addressed to the professor. Appeals must occur within 10 days from the first day that the marks were made available to students. After the 10 days, the appeal will not be considered.

Notes to Remember
The best way to learn about this course is to do end of chapter hands-on exercises and case studies!!! Attendance is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Should you attend a lecture, out of respect to your instructor and fellow classmates, you must not disrupt the lecture in any way. Pagers and cell phones must be turned off during the lectures, tests and final exam.
