Medical Billing: What Is It?


the process by which doctors and other health professionals receive reimbursement for their work. the practice of compiling all relevant data concerning payments in the health care setting. requires knowledge and skills developed by certified professionals. a subspecialty of medical coding

What is Medical Coding?


the transformation of medical information into numeric and alphanumeric codes. The medical coder studies patient charts to determine the services rendered to a patient and assigns designated codes from ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS. The codes are used by the medical biller to generate a claim for reimbursement.

What is Outsourcing?
It is the process of transferring business functions to an outside company. When the tasks are contracted to a company in another country, it is called offshoring.

Process
1. Records/reports/charts are saved and transferred using various methods.

Classroom and Trainee Management


The tentative schedule will be from

7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Manila time, Mondays to Saturdays. Distance Learning will be employed. Classes are tested and pre-recorded. Our resource person, one of the top authorities in the industry, will hold consultations with the trainees twice a week. Final exams will be administered and checked by a representative of AAPC.
