Course Details
Course Code: Frelec3 Credit: 3 units Audience: BS Information Technology Students Course Description: The course aims to provide students the fundamental skills necessary to understand and implement e-business applications. The course focuses on the different business models to be used for planning the development of e-business software. Students are expected to create an e-business application based on the strategies and models discussed.

STUDENTS
Can only come inside the computer laboratory when respective teacher is around Should place their bags and other personal belongings to the designated area Are not allowed to swap seats Are not allowed to bring and eat food inside the computer laboratory

STUDENTS
Are not allowed to perform non-academic activity inside the laboratory such as the following: (1) Playing games, (2) Browsing social networking websites, (3) Browsing pornographic websites and others that may be deemed by the teacher not necessary in the course being taken by the student.

STUDENTS
Should place all electronic gadgets inside their bags. Laptops may be brought inside the laboratory if it will be used in the delivery of an academic activity. Cellular phones should be placed in silent mode and be kept inside the pocket. All students are required to use computer terminals assigned to them by their teacher.

STUDENTS
Are required to arrange their respective swivel chairs and should properly turn the computer and AVR off after class.

Laboratory Rules
The internet may only be used with approval from the teacher. Otherwise, you will be penalized with a disciplinary sanction. During discussions or lecture days, the computer should be turned off.

Midterm Grade

Attendance (20%) Exercises/Seatwork (60%) Values and Behavior (20%)

Grading System
Exercises/Seatwork - Non-Submission will give you 50% - Late Submission will give you 75%

Attendance - More than 12 hours of absence FDA - 3 cumulative tardiness = 1 hour absence

Certificate of Excused Absence


If a Laboratory Activity or a Quiz is missed due to absence, a grade of 50% will be given. A student who missed a Laboratory Activity or Quiz, maybe given activities of equal weight to make up provided that a CEA is presented. A student who submits a late Assignment due to absence should also present a CEA.

Class Group Site


The class will be given a group site to collaborate for assignments and projects. Sometimes, Quizzes are also uploaded at the group site. Lecture Handouts are uploaded via group site
