DELIVERIES FOR V-DAY


Singing Valentines will be delivered Friday, Feb. 8th, 11th, and 12th during fourth period. If you are absent or miss our singers, please come to the choir room Tues. Feb.12th at 2:30 to receive your Valentine. Happy Valentines Day!!!

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY


Attention members who are being inducted into National Honor Society, there is a mandatory meeting and rehearsal for induction on Tuesday, February 12 after school in the auditorium. There will be NO makeup meeting, so you are required to attend after school. Dont forget induction is on Thursday, February 21.

GERMAN STUDENTS ARE WINNERS!


Clements students participated in Houstonfest, the regional German contest that qualifies students for the Texas State German Contest. CHS won 58 awards and second place in sweepstakes, just behind Kingwood (769 to 752). About 50 students will advance to State on Saturday, February 23.

COURSE REGISTRATION
If you would like to request a course that is not on the course selection sheet for your grade, please complete a SPECIAL COURSE REQUEST form from the Commons Office. When you are online in Family Access, input the classes that you can and leave the other slots empty so that your counselor can input the other classes if they are approved. Make sure that you list alternates as well in case your counselor does not approve your requested course.

CHEER TRYOUTS
Cheer Tryouts are fast approaching. Cheer Tryouts will be held Tuesday, March 5th at 7:30. Mandatory parent/cheer nominee meeting will be Tuesday, February 19 @6:30pm in the CHS Library. You must attend the meeting to receive the paperwork. Please know that a current physical will be required to complete the tryout process. For question, please contact Mrs. Mayo @ [email protected]

SINGING VALENTINES
Singing Valentines this year will be DELIVERED on Feb. 8th, 11th and 12th during 4th period by members of our Varsity Mixed Choir. Please indicate below which days you would be willing to have students come into your 4th period class to sing their songs (under 2 minutes for each song), which will be accompanied by the delivery of a carnation and lollipop!
