This document provides background information on the 1st Papyaw Facebook Awards 2011, which seeks to honor the developer's Facebook friends in 11 categories based on their interactions and influence on the social media platform over the past 7 months. Awards Concept Note I. Background and History Papyaw facebook Awards seeks to bestow on my dear and lovely friends here honours in 11 different categories. The naissance of this award is traced to March 29, 2011- a historic day for Africa and Ghana.
~ This was the day the Ghana Black stars locked horns with the Three Lions of England at the Wembly in a historic encounter.

II. Rationale
It is based on my interaction with them, their works and influence on this social media platform. It takes into account, the statuses, comments, likes, notes (if applicable.)

III. Methodology
It is based on the developers multi and interconnected interaction with friends on facebook not facebook friends(1,206)- their works and influence especially on this social media platform and also outside .Over the past 7 months (March- November), a monitoring system was put in place to monitor regular facebookers. The criteria used is Status updates- Likes & Comments generated Links Photos and Videos

Emphasis is is placed on content of post, link or photo. While acknowledging that numerical data was not generated on the above parameter.
