The guidance office at Daram National High School aims to provide opportunities for students' personal development, academic excellence, and career advancement. The guidance center strives to provide counseling programs that help students achieve their full potential through interventions that develop the whole person. The office facilitates guidance services to help students identify their abilities and interests, provide personal counseling in personal, academic, and career matters, and conduct activities to help students learn about themselves and make informed decisions. It also employs measures to help students with academic or behavioral issues.

As an integral part of the education system of Daram National High School, the guidance office being a service oriented unit aims to provide opportunities for students personal integration, academic excellence and professional advancement; thus paving the way for community awareness and involvement, propagation of cultural values, and responsiveness to social problems which will bring about strengthened national identity.

The Office believes that the youth is the most important entity in the school. In connection to the vision, the Guidance center endeavors to provide a sound Guidance and Counseling program that will help the youth to arrive & achieve the maximum development of potentialities through the provision of interventions that would engender the whole person the attainment of self-knowledge, selfdirection, and self-development.

Facilitate a systematic and reliable means of providing guidance services whereby students are greatly assisted in identifying their capacities, interest, aptitudes, values, and career preferences. Apply personal assistance to students through counseling services geared towards helping them achieve adjustment in three areas: personal-social, academic, and career. Conduct an appropriate guidance activities designed to help students achieve a greater awareness of themselves as unique individuals, exploration of their innate potentialities, empower them to make sound decisions based on informed choices, and to solve their own problems with great convictions and responsibility. Employ intervention measures for students with known academic or behavioral problems or those identified having immediate needs of professional assistance in order to prevent serious problems or distressful situation from developing. Take effect significant impact on the academic success of students through consultation and collaborative undertakings with different school offices on wide spectrum of academic concerns.
