Registration Fall 2012

** Phase II registration: August 11th August 24th ** Note: Incoming Freshmen will register during FASET or assigned registration time IP Globally-Focused Coursework: As registration comes, keep in mind the three global coursework areas that
you must complete: 1) International Relations, 2) Global Economics, 3) Country of Regional. Check the details on the Coursework Requirements section of the IP Website, and see next page.

Language Courses:

Ya la tomaste? All students must take through at least the 2002 level or equivalent of a language other than English. Consider your language needs and the IP language requirements when signing up for summer and fall classes. Students studying abroad or working abroad this fall for the 1st and/or 2nd term of their IP international experience must have the term(s) approved for the IP. To gain approval, please complete the International Experience Approval Form and see advisement and signatures from the representatives listed on the form. It is highly recommended to have this form completed and turned into the Office of International Education before Phase I registration so that you can sign up for the IP audit course (no credit/no homework!) for the semester youre abroad. (Note if this is your 2nd term, and you have already submitted an International Experience Approval, you do not need to do so again, unless there was a change to your plan).

For Current and Future Graduating Students

IP Degree Designator

Once the IP is worked into DegreeWorks, it will also be added to the new Online Application for Graduation. For now, students petitioning to graduate with the IP Designator must still complete the IP Degree Designator Form (hard-copy; on Forms section of website: http://www.internationalplan.gatech.edu/forms ). Please note this form has changed: The Office of the Registrar has requested that the IP designator forms be collected and submitted by the International Plan Assistant Director. Therefore, students will obtain academic unit signatures first, then submit the original copy to the IP for the final approval. Thank you for your assistance with this new procedure!
