Hello friends,i am priyanka kadam,i have got selected in TCS.I have prepared for TCS through papers only thats why i am very much excited to share my interview with all u people who really wants to go in TCS.I have my written test on 24th january 2008.In written there were 250 students and only 154 students were selected and friends there were no sectional cutoff as such but upper and lower cutoff are all previously decided,they never tell about that There were 3 sections 1)verbal 2)Apptitude 3)Critical reasoning In verbal section there were 10 antonyms and 10 synonyms,all r from barrens 750 wordlist,plz friends do 750 wordlist its important,some of the words i know are 1)frugality 2)paegan 3)pious 4)pique 5)pagan 6)dangling 7)stuborn 8)fledgling 9)placate 10)repugnance 11)raucous And some more were there,all are from 750 wordlist. In Aptitude,the time limit was of 40 minutes,in this section all the questions are from previous year papers,just the digits were changed,nothing else,dont scare from this section,it is so easy section,u can collect more marks in this section,just do previous year papers by practising into the sheet.I am not giving the questions b'coz all questions are almost same,just practise previous year papers. In Critical reasoning we have given one paragraph in which it consists of 6 blanks and 10 choices were there,so we have to fill that by reading that,then there were passage into it and it was also from barrens book then that one problem of joe,larry,mary,paul,willy,crystal,albert...........(from barrens 12th edition page no.446 question no. 12-18),friends one more only 12 th edition is helpful for Tcs ,other editions are useless,just go through 12 th edition,b'coz they totally copy the barrens so u shud also have good mugging ability.Then one more problem of A causes B,B causes C and D..........it is also from barrens book.Just go through the method to solve this b'coz sometimes they change the number of alphabets. After seletion in written test,they have given one day gap for technicle interview,we were called at 9 A.M,but there were around 154 students,so my turn came at night 8:30PM,plz guys be confident during interview session,i have asked lots of questions almost from every subject which i have mention in my Resume,so be prepare for all the subjects,it is not necessary that u shud give all the answers but whatever u give just be confident,dont try to correct the panel member,they are so cool people and dont try to be so close of members b'coz do such type of activities to understand our actual nature and one more thing friends,it is not necessary that during Technical round they wont ask ur hobbies and all,they can ask u everything which u have mention in ur resume,so may be if u r lucky,they can only ask ur another activites

but prepare for technical.My interview was around of 45 minutes and they asked me bunch of question. After completion of Technical there were HR round,in HR there were one lady who is so friendly and so calm,u need not to worry about that,just be confident and u will surely crake, it was so simple to give the answers of HR,in my HR she has asked me regarding my strenghts which i have mention that positive attitude,then she has asked me to describe ur family background,one more thing guys, just visit the complete TCS site,they will surely ask u regarding latest achievements of the IT firm and all.As i dint able to give the answer of latest achievement in TCS,but its ok they only check ur confidence level nothing else,so be confident.After completion of HR they have told us to wait and then at 10:30pm at night they have declared the result in which it consist of 75 students who got selected.And i was one of them. BEST OF LUCK FRIENDS AND DO BELEIVE IN GOD,U WILL SURELY GET THE "TCS".
