SAPGUI720 Installation Procedure

SAPGUI 720 Installation

Download the Files a. Save the deploySAPGUI720.zip file and unzip it to your PC.

For Network Installation a. After unzipping the deploySAPGUI720.zip file, make sure you read the Readme.txt file for further instructions.

When installing this folder has to be copied to the root of C:\ to avoid modifying the source path in batch file included. Users should not be in SAP during deployment or errors will occur. Users logged on their computer during the installation may need to reboot before using the sapgui. To install SAPGUI 720 patch 2 run the SAPGUI720.bat file.

For Manual Installation a. Run the SAPGUI720.exe core file.

b. Wait for the extraction to finish.

c. Click on Next button.

d. Select SAPGUI720 radio button.

e. Click on Next button.

f. Wait for the installation.

g. Select Done button to complete installation.

Run gui720patch2.exe file.

i. Wait for the extraction to finish.

Check the Release and Patch Level information.

Registering the SAPGUI 720 mshtml.tab a. Go Start->Run.

NOTE: Only Applicable for Windows XP with IE7

b. Type cmd and click button.

Change the current directory to C:\Program Files\SAP \SapSetup\setup or C:\<SAPGUI Installation Folder>\SapSetup\setup\

d. Type sapregsv.exe mshtml.tlb and hit enter.

e. Click the OK when completed.
