Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) emerged as a new Company in the year 2002, after demerger from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. It is the first factory of its kind to use associated natural gas as basic raw material for producing nitrogenous fertilizer. The production Units of the Corporation situated at Namrup, Assam have been revamped and modernized recently. BVFCL have two Ammonia and two Urea plants in operation with total production capacity of 5.55 lakhs MT of Urea per annum. To head the Technical Services of the Company. He will be responsible for evolving strategic initiatives for improving operational efficiencies/ plant operations, process monitoring, strategy formulation for troubleshooting in the plants, planning of preventive & predictive maintenance, proper maintenance planning for reducing downtime, feasibility studies of projects, diagnosing breakdown problems, etc. As GM (Operations), he will be overall In-charge of the Ammonia and Urea groups of plants and responsible for plant operations, process monitoring, preventive & predictive maintenance, general management etc.
Degree in Engineering with 20 years post qualification Executive experience in line in a PSU/ large Private sector Chemical Industry out of which at least 6 years should be at the senior management level with proven knowledge of modern technological developments in Chemical Industry. As DGM (Finance) / CFM, he will be responsible for all financial activities of the Corporation, including financial accounting and budgetary control, costing and pricing, finalization of Company Accounts, Taxation, Audit, familiarity with cash credit procedure, purchase and store accounts, capital expenditure control, and accounting of marketing function, liaisoning with Financial Institutions and Govt. bodies.

The incumbent will be 40 years responsible for overall functioning of Obstetrics & Gynaecology department and administering the total health care facility, attending patients both indoor and outdoor of BVFC Hospital during routine and emergency hours. The incumbent will be responsible for transportation of materials through rail/road, coordination for despatch of materials and liasioning with the Railway Authorities etc. 40/35 years
MBBS with post graduate degree or diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with minimum 05 years post qualification experience after MBBS of which 02 years experience for PG degree and 03 years for PG diploma holders in speciality is essential. Preference will be given to female candidate.

For Asstt. Transportation Officer: Graduate in any discipline having two years Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Management with minimum 01 year post qualification Executive experience in handling jobs related to transportation of materials in a PSU/ manufacturing industry of repute. Preference will be given to candidates having Two year Post graduate degree/ diploma in Transportation / Logistic/ Materials management. For Jr. Transportation Officer: Graduate in any discipline having minimum One year Post Graduate Diploma in Transportation / Logistic/ Materials Management with minimum 01 year post qualification experience in handling jobs related to transportation of materials in a PSU/ manufacturing industry of repute.

General Information and instructions: 1) All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/Deemed University or AICTE approved Autonomous Institution or Indian Medical Council (wherever applicable) PSU executive applying for the post must be working for minimum two years in the next below post/scale as on 01.05.2012. Reservation of post /relaxation in age etc. for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/PH and ExServiceman candidates shall be as per the Government of India directives. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) are required to submit attested copies of their caste/ non creamy layer certificates issued by the Competent Authority alongwith the application. Higher start in the time scale of pay may be considered in case of deserving candidates.
