PROJECT TITLE
This software named as ONLINE PHOTO GALLERY WITH IMAGE PROCESSING AND GREETINGS CARD GENERATION is a newer version of Image Gallery software available in the web ,which is very user-friendly and helps to making image edit easy by providing editable options.

PROBLEM DEFINATION
The problem I observe in this area is that the user has to do all the operations manually , by searching and analyzing photographs using applications which requires expert knowledge, a miss-spelled of options may create many hours of extra work and complicated correction procedure. Another important application found in web is Greetings Card Generator where only fix designs can be used, with fix photographs and themes. This leads to inconvenience for the users. The more you customize and personalize your greeting card, the more value it has for a person who receives it. The combination of both is not yet done by any of the web providers. The existing system is not so much effective in terms of: - Image Processing. - Combination of image processing and Greetings card generator is no where . - Chatting while editing photos. - Card send to outsiders and registered users. - Creating Albums, Community.

OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM

The PHOTO GALLERY WITH IMAGE PROCESSING AND GREETINGS CARD GENERATOR is created keeping in mind the requirements of the image loving peoples. As we use the Internet more and more, ecards (electronic cards, virtual cards) replace paper ones. Quick creation, unlimited variety of designs, diversity of media (animated e-cards, interactive flash greeting cards) and the possibility to immediately send an ecard to your friends and your beloved ones for free makes this a diverse one.

Proposed System Objective:1. Uploading and downloading pictures with thumbnails. 2. Integrate photo with greetings . 3. User friendly interface. 4. To develop a interface having edit and enhancement option. 5. Chatting with friends. 6. To send greetings by adding new uploaded images. 7. Creating albums and community. 8. Commenting and likings. 9. Absolutely FREE. The most important objective of this project is to edit and use photographs from the gallery and creating e-cards.

EXISTING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The existing system is studied to know the extent of facility of using images. Therefore, a detailed analysis of the existing system was done by me. For this purpose , many web base applications were visited. None of these have all those facilities in an integrated form. There are many image gallery where photos can be stored but cant be enhanced. There are many greeting card generating applications but having fix images and themes. Many disadvantages are found. As we studied the existing system, it was found that not so much important is given on image processing. User had to first find photos and images for using it in the e-card generation. The most challenging fact is that all image processing software application available in web are not free. Most of the greetings card generators demands revenue, payable at the time of generation.
