ASCENT COLLEGE Alliance University Provisional admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree course

1. All short-listed candidates appear for the admission selection process to the Master of Business
Administration degree program at the Ascent College. Students are provisionally selected on the basis of their performance in the selection process described below:

a. A candidate is required to appear for an Aptitude Test conducted by the Ascent College,
designed on the pattern of the GMAT.

b. Candidates will appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview, wherein the
Admissions Committee of Ascent College will make an assessment of the candidates overall aptitude for pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree program.

2. The names of candidates who successfully clear the process will be announced on the same day on
which they appear for the selection process.

3. Selected candidates who wish to enroll for the Master of Business Administration degree program at
the Ascent College are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of `50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) no later than 14:00 hours on the following day, towards the acceptance of a provisional offer of admission at the Ascent College. The non-refundable registration fee is required to be paid by demand draft in favor of Ascent College - Alliance University payable at Bangalore.

4. Selected candidates who do not register as above, would be construed as not being interested in joining
the Ascent College and would forfeit their seats.

5. Such forfeited seats would then be offered to wait-listed candidates in the order of merit. 6. Candidates registered for the Master of Business Administration degree program are required to pay
the first installment of program fee within the stipulated time.

7. Failure to comply with the payment of the first installment of program fee would automatically result
in the forfeiture of the seat. The amount already paid towards registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

8. It is the responsibility of the candidates who are provisionally admitted to the Master of Business
Administration degree program to submit all relevant documents required by the Office of the Registrar, Alliance University which include marks sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, provisional degree certificate, and any other documents that may be prescribed by the University within the stipulated period. Failure to produce these documents by the candidate will automatically result in the seat being cancelled and all fees paid being forfeited.

9. A candidate attending the selection process is deemed to have read and understood all the conditions
herein and is deemed to have accepted the same. 10. Candidates may note that any dispute arising out of any of the clauses mentioned above would be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Bangalore only.
