E-Learning in The Classroom?

The document discusses using technology and e-learning strategies in the classroom. It argues that e-learning should be integrated into classroom teaching to help solve pedagogical problems, but that the focus should remain on learning rather than technology. Not all subjects or students are suited to e-learning. Teachers should have a broad knowledge of different technologies so they can choose the right tool for the job. Several examples are given of low-tech and free tools that can be integrated into classroom teaching, like lecture capture, screen sharing, and file sharing. Teachers should start by using the tools they are comfortable with and try new tools gradually with a small group of students.
