Details In Release 12, when a manager or employee submits a transaction for approval in SelfService Human Resources, no further action is allowed by the initiator while the transaction is pending approval, preventing users from deleting inaccurate transactions. RUP2 introduces a new system profile that, when enabled, allows the initiator of a transaction to delete a transaction at any level in the approval chain while it is pending approval. This feature can be enabled using the new system profile HR:Enable Initiator to Delete a Pending-Approval Transaction. When the profile is set to Yes, the initiator of a transaction will be allowed to delete Pending for Approval transactions. When the profile is set to "No," the initiator will not be allowed to delete Pending for Approval Transactions. EBS R12.1.2 is released and much awaited gap in the OTL and Absence Management product is closed in the current release. OTL timecard is integrated with the SSHR Absence Management, with this new functionality Absence entered in the Oracle Core HR/ ESS or MSS will be populated in OTL Timecard. Similarly Absence time entered in OTL can be viewed in Core HR and SSHR. This new functionality helps to maintain the data integrity and this new functionality also eliminates much of the custom work that need to be done by the consultants to validate the time entered in OTL against the Absence Management

The Swan User AOL R12 Swan UI brings together some of the best UI concepts Interface from Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards applications. The Oracle User Management registration process functionality is enhanced to support the following features: Registration Registration processes for administrative actions (role Oracle User Process 12.0.2 assignment) can be defined Management Enhancements separately from policies relating to self-service requests. Swan User Interface OAF 12.0.2 As stated in Section 4, the new Swan user interface (UI) greatly improves the look and
feel of the Oracle E-Business Suite, significantly enhancing usability and productivity. Release 12 extends the existing command line personalization import/export capabilities with HTML pages included in the Functional R12 Administrator responsibility. The Personalization Document Manager feature also allows you to replicate personalizations across database instances. Custom Look-and-Feel (CLAF) gives you the ability to create new looks and feels (skins) to match your organization's web UI standards. You can create a new look and feel (LAF) 12.0.2 that makes your E-Business Suite applications look like your corporate web site.Personalized SPEL Bindings SPEL (simple expression) bindings can be used to substitute or override the base SPEL bindings for rendered, required, and read-only properties. Now you can change the corporate branding logo using a profile option: set the profile option "Corporate Branding Image for Oracle Applications" 12.0.2 (FND_CORPORATE_BRANDING_IMAGE) to the name of an image file (GIF) that contains your corporate image. Checklists allow a customer to set up checklists for common life event processes such as on boarding. Depending on the life event, a checklist is dynamically built (based on eligibility) to comprise a number of associated tasks R12 with target completion dates and designated performers. This feature also integrates with Oracle Approvals Management (AME) to provide task approvals when required. This feature was first released in Human Resources Release 12. Using the Global Deployments function, HR Professionals can transfer employees permanently or temporarily between business groups. (Temporary transfers are known in HRMS as secondments). Oracle R12 HRMS automatically creates or updates employee in both source and destination business groups when user initiates the transfer. business groups again. Some setup tasks are necessary before first use of the Global Deployments function. This feature was first released in Human Resources Release 12. This enhancement provide users the flexibility of querying and processing Employee records across business groups in People Management templates irrespective of the business group of the Employees, when using a responsibility with a Global Security profile. But Users should still be able to create new R12 Employees in the current business group attached to the current responsibility. All the actions of the People Management templates will be performed considering the Business group of the Employee being processed, instead of the Business group of the current responsibility. The Salary Administration form is enhanced and restyled. It is now available in web based forms and provides more functionality and data. There RUP1 are 3 sub tabs that display Salary History, all you to Compare to Similar Employees and view Salary Market Data. Documents of Record allows the user the ability to define documents required to work within than legislation including work permits, visas, FPK absence notes, passports This feature was first released in Oracle Human Resources Family Pack K. You can now search for ex-employees/terminated employees when using selected selfservice FPJ functions. This enables self-service users to query information for persons with the person type Ex-Employee. SSHR now provides comprehensive API' for SS transaction data archive and retrieval.
