Hi and welcome to FLY GOSH. Thank You for downloading the Cathay Pacific interview questions. As everyone is different, it can never be possible for me to provide the entire questions being thrown to you during the interview. Same as those on personal questions as everyone has their own experience and background. What I can do is to give you a general idea and some favorites question that you will most likely be asked. I believe that you have an interview coming up or just to prepare yourself for future interview. Whatever it is, I hope that I can help you be a better candidate and wish you the best of luck in pursuing your dream as a Pilot. Why do you want to become a Pilot ? Why does the 777-300ER have no winglets? What part of the cadet program will you find most challenging?

How do you feel about moving to Hong Kong? What do you like to do in your spare time? What are the duties of SO? Do you prefer classroom learning to hands on visual learning? Knowing that a SO does, there is very little hands on learning how do you think you will cope? Why is the cargo plane outside silver? Have you looked into learning to fly in Australia? Why should Cathay hire you? What would some of your work colleagues say about you if we asked them? What qualities do you have that will make you a good pilot? What type of planes will you be flying in Adelaide?
What is the difference between the Grob A and Grob B? Who is the first person you would call if your car broke down? If you know youre in the right, and your boss is hammering you telling you, you are wrong, what do you do? What did you think about FTA when you visited? How can you tell an A330-300 to a 777? How would you fly this SID?
The Capt. continues an approach beyond minimums, he tells you that hes shot this approach a1,000 times, knows the area, and everythings fine. What will you do?
You find your Capt. drinking before a flight, how will you handle this?
You are talking to the Capt., and you smell alcohol. Although you didnt see him drinking, what would you do?
You smell smoke in the cockpit, what initial action should you take? Then what do you do?
The Capt. tells you the smoke is normal and it will clear itself, 15 minutes later the condition is growing worse. The Capt. gives you the same response, now what would you do?
The aircraft is loaded way beyond gross wt., the Capt. tells you that he does this all the time, and the aircraft will fly. What do you do?
