The story is about the Phantom of the Opera who lives beneath the Paris Opera House and falls in love with Christine. He terrorizes the opera house to get what he wants.

When Charlotte was singing, the Phantom caused her voice to sound like a frog and made a large chandelier fall over someone in the audience, causing them to run away in fear.

Erik made Christine choose between turning a casket with a grasshopper on it which would cause a big explosion killing them, or turning a casket with a scorpion on it which would make her Erik's wife and save Raoul.
