Technical specification of the space frame : Space frame shall be designed as per is 875. Spherical solid node (mero type)connectors shall be used. Space frame shall be nodular design. Member shall confirm to IS-1239. Node & members shall be treated with two coats of suitable primer & enamel paint. Fabrication shall be done as per relevant IS codes. Item no. 1 Design, Supply, Fabrication, installation position tubular space frame structure for entrance to withstand a wind pressure as per IS Codes using members and node connectors. Providing and fabricating space frame members (SPME/SPPM) of different types of members with structural steel tubes of grade YST 210, confirming to IS 1239 and IS 1161 and square section confirming to IS 4923

as per specifications given under code SPME/SPPM . rate shall include for painting one coat of etch primer and two coats of enamel paint over one coat of etch primer, high tensile bolts of minimum 10.9 grade confirming to IS 1363 should be used. End cone shall be welded to the tubes confirming to the specification. Material specification codes are as under : a) Code No : SPME : space frame members out of tubular members of grade YST 210 confirming to IS 1161 and IS 1239 with provision for interconnecting the proprietary nodes and fastening by tensile bolts. b) Code No : SPPM : space frame purlin members out of square hollow section or as specified confirming to IS 1161 with provision for inter connection to space frame members and fastening by high tensile bolts. c) d) e) Code No : SPJT : proprietary node designed as per relevant IS/BS/ISO/DIN/ASTM codes for an uniaxial capacity and grade of material and forged confirming to IS 2004 . Code No : SPERE : assembly and erection of space frame with interconnection of approved members and proprietary node fastened with high tensile bolts and anchored into the building structure confirming to IS 7205. Code No : SPCA : special fabricated / manufactured components / anchorages shall be used to fix the space frame to the building structure and the anchorage material shall confirm to IS 2062.

Quoted rate shall include the following : Manufacturing steel forged proprietary node connectors confirming to code no SPJT , grade 4 of IS 2004 or grade SG 500/7 of IS 1865, with a Uniaxial Tensile design Load confirming to IS 2629 and IS 4759. Rate shall include painting with one coat of etch primer and two coats of enamel paint as per manufacturer specification. Manufacturing, supporting structure for space frame consisting of MS plates, channels, angles, anchor bolts, sleeves, high tensile bolts, circular pipe for support, aluminium extruders etc, confirming to IS 2062 grade A/B, including aligning, leveling, straightening, cutting, welding bending to shape, painting with coats of enamel paint over one coat of each primer. Transport assembly, erection and fixing of space frame in position using members and node connectors as per detailed specifications and given under code SPERE.

Mechanical lifting equipment, temporary scaffolding for all elevations, levels and heights including aligning, leveling, fixing bolts, washers and welding the members and anchorages wherever required at all levels, elevations and heights and all labour, tools, tackles and plants deployed, consumables etc. complete and as directed.
