Exchange Tips

1) The default Exchange installation creates a Storage Group containing a Mailbox Store and Public Folder Store. Each store contains .edb and .stm files for storing email messages and attachments. 2) To install Exchange, prerequisites like ASP.NET, IIS, SMTP, and NNTP must be installed. The Exchange setup can then be run. 3) Mailbox management tasks like deleting mailboxes are performed by the mailbox store maintenance which runs periodically based on configured intervals.
