Mall and I passed out surveys about the NCLB act to mainly older males and females. I asked certain questions like if they believed that the government should be involved in public school systems, if the act is effective, if the act should be revised, etc. The results I received met my expectations. I expected most of the participants to agree that the NCLB act should be revised. Most of the participants believed that the schools should run their own system. I also believe that. They also agree that teachers should have the freedom to teach their own way. When it comes to the students, people agree that it asks too much for the disabled and lower-leveled students and it isnt helping the higher-level students at all. Many people also agreed that annual testing puts students in a box. Overall, most of my participants believed that the act hinders students performance in school and that the act should be revised. Some of the results are useful to my project. I will use it to conclude my project. RESULTS 1. Do you believe that it is necessary for all public schools to be reconstructed? Why/why not?
