Computer Lab Rules
1. No Food or Drinks – To prevent spills and damage to equipment, food and drinks are not
allowed.
2. Use Computers for Educational Purposes Only – Avoid gaming, social media, or
unauthorized downloads unless permitted.
3. Respect Others – Keep noise levels low and avoid disturbing others.
4. Log In and Log Out Properly – Always use your assigned credentials and log out when
finished.
5. Do Not Install or Uninstall Software – Only administrators can modify system settings or
software.
6. Handle Equipment with Care – Do not remove cables, tamper with hardware, or misuse
peripherals.
7. Save Your Work Properly – Store your files on external drives or cloud storage, as local
files may be deleted.
8. Report Issues Immediately – Inform the lab supervisor of any technical problems or
damages.
9. Follow Internet Usage Guidelines – Do not access inappropriate or restricted websites.
10. Leave the Workspace Clean – Push in chairs, dispose of trash, and keep the area tidy for
the next user.
