Computer Programming
Computer programming is the process of writing instructions that a computer can understand and
follow to perform specific tasks. These instructions are written in programming languages such
as Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and HTML. Programmers, also called software developers
or coders, create everything from mobile apps and websites to video games and business
software. Programming involves problem-solving, logic, and creativity. It begins with
understanding what the user needs, then designing a solution, writing code, testing it, and fixing
any bugs (errors). Learning to code is now considered an important skill, and many online
platforms offer courses for beginners. Programming is the backbone of software development,
and without it, modern technology—from smartphones to space rockets—would not function. As
technology evolves, programming is becoming more important in every industry, from
healthcare to finance to education.
