1. What is Abacus?

Ans: Abacus is known as the first calculating machine. It has beads on rods used to count things. Only
simple calculations such as addition and subtraction can be done on it.

2. Define Leibniz’s Calculator.

Answer: Leibniz’s Calculator in an improved addition machine that has stepped cylinder with
nineteenth of varying lengths used for calculations.

3. What is the difference between a Micro computer and a Micro computer?

Ans: The difference between a Micro Computer and a Super computer are:

4. What is ROM?

Ans: ROM stands for Read-Only Memory. It is a volatile memory that stores important data
permanently, such as instructions needed for a computer to start up. It retains its contents even when
the power is turned off.

DVD, pen drive etc.
