Learn Python Coding using Blocks
Python is the most popular programming language. As a programmer it’s a great first language because
it is concise and easy to read and is used for everything from web development to software development
and scientific applications. This course helps young minds to learn conditions, functions and
computational syntax coding in a very easy way. But as a 9 year old it might be difficult to memorise all
the syntax in python. Block coding helps students overcome this hurdle by providing an easy drag and
drop based interface.
Students will be using the Python Block coding interface to create and run the code.

The blocks are divided into sub categories. Every category has a set of blocks which can be
dragged and dropped into the main building area. Comactible blocks snap to other blocks. After
building a logic we test the code using run button on the top right hand corner of the screen.

What you will learn

• Introduction to data types, variables, user inputs and its dynamic application
• Conditional flow statements, looping & functions.
• Boolean logics and its operations, lists and its operations
• Make 5 cool projects during the course like calculator, timer, stopwatch, graphs and
voting machine.
• Students will also learn to use modules. Modules are an important part of python
• Learn to use advanced concepts of programming using python block coding
• Learn to build complex logics, make basic games and draw using python
• Introduction to functions, Turtle draw library
• Random Library and its use in making games
• Make quiz game, password generation
• Make big projects and games like – Multi level graph representation, Snake and
ladder game, Wave representation etc
