Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender, Correspondent Banking (1988 1992) Recognized as the sales calling leader for the entire Wholesale Banking Division for 1990. Assisted in the development and implementation of First Citys statewide underwriting guidelines for Correspondent Banking. Acted as a trainer and resource person for eight person lending department.

(1988) Managed and developed a staff of four, including three professionals who were subsequently promoted to Vice Presidents, Commercial Lending in the Wholesale Banking Division Identified initial credit problems in the HLT loan portfolio (approx. $500MM in commitments) which led to the implementation of timely workout strategies. (1987 1988) Acted as trouble shooter for Banks Credit Administration function which enabled holding company management to respond quickly to a rapidly deteriorating situation.
