About PMI-ACP Exam

PMI-ACP exam is based on the following:

• 12 recommended books from PMI known as “Reference Materials”.

Once certified, the ACP certification is valid for 3 years.

To continue to hold the PMI-ACP • PDU stands for Professional Development Unit
certification, at the end of the 3 year
certification cycle, one needs 30 PDUs • 1 PDU corresponds to 1 hour of professional development activity

Understanding Exam Result

Exam Results are reported in two ways:

• Pass/Fail result is generated on overall performance in the examination.

Second level of results is assignment of one of three proficiencies:

• Each domain is assigned Proficient, moderately proficient and below proficient based on questions
answered from each domain.

PMI defines proficiency as:

Exam Retake Criteria

If you are not successful in all the three attempts, then you have to wait one year from the date of your last
