ABSTRACT
The generation of internet in business centres is of a great importance, this goes
along to show how important is the importance of internet in business Centre;
However in the course of this study many people has become usefully to
internet in their business centres, lack of internet, it lead to low communication
and also some use of social media, and course of this is lack of awareness
illiteracy in the citizens.

So the government should create a means of bringing out credible and

literate citizen that will able to use or operate computer system by that the
problem would be tackle down. And in the course of this research some
important issues come up which had not been dealt within this project and I will
advise those who will like to go further on this topic that they should
concentrate on the impact of incentives or motivating of staff on importance of
internet business centres.
CHAPTER ONE
1.1 INTRODUCTION:
Internet is the act whereby computers are networked to transport
information coming from individual Churches, Business, Governments, Schools
etc ta different part of the world. The internet sometimes called simple the net,
is a worldwide system of networks in which users at any one computer can, if
they have permission get information from any other computer (and sometimes
talk directly to users at other computers).
The internet is consisting of a global network of computer that communicate
using internet protocol (IP) and that use border Gateway protocol (BGP) is
identify the best paths to route those communications.
The internet is the largest data network on earth. The internet consist of a
multitude of interconnected network both large and small,
A physical connection is made by connecting specialized expansion card
such as a modem or a network interface card (NIC) from a computer (PC)
personal computer to a network.
1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
Modern technology has brought about the use of internet into business Centre.
It is believed that where internet software are installed will require less human
effort and time consumption to perform a communicative operation.
The problems of this study can be stated as: dose internet effectively assist in
business Centre?
1.3 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:
In this perspective the objective of the study is to know the advantage of
introduction of internet in business Centre.
i. Internet is highly and much reliable
ii. Internet creates an easy access to communicate with one another
iii.Internet help to save your documentary files for feature use.
iv. Internet browsing and studying easy in educational perspective.
1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY:
Before the use of internet in business Centre Nigeria will recall that browsing
and communication was been very difficult, but with the help of internet now to
brows or communicate with one another now have been made easy and stress
free in this modern days.
In modern developments in internet have made browsing and
communication more accurate, fast and efficient.
1.5 HYPOTHESIS:
For the purpose of this research the following hypotheses are drawn in other to
meet up or arrive at the same point.
i. Internet in business centers is necessary
ii. Internet are very essential and good mean of bringing income to business
Centre
iii. The operation of the internet in business Centre are efficient
iv. Efficiency is improved through internet

1.6 SCOPE AND LIMITATION OF STUDY

The scope of this project research is concern with the importance of internet to
business Centre then only internet accrued to the study will be take into
consideration the period which the study will be is, the study will state the
various internet service within the board.
1.7 DEFINITIONS OF TERMS
i. Computer: is an electronic machine that accepter data process data by the
following set of instruction to produce an accurate result
ii. Software: software are invisible component that cannot seen or are encoded
computer instructions, usually modifiable (unless started in some form of
unalterable memory such as Rom)
iii. Program: program is a set of instruction direct and control the operation of
computer hardware.
iv. Internet: internet is a network that transport information coming individuals,
Churches, Business, Government and Schools to different part of the world.
v. Business: Business is define as an activity of buying and selling of good and
services for profit making.
1.8 HISTORICAL EVALUATION INTERNET
The history of the computer internet is in the mid – 1950s users with stand –
alone computers started to share files using modems (modulator and
demodulator) to connect other computers. This was referred to as point – to –
point, or dial – up communication. This concept was expanded to the use of
computers that were the central point of communication in a dial – up
connection. These computers were called bulletin boards users would connect to
the bulletin board leave and pick up messages, as well as upload and download
files. The drawback to this type of system was that there was very little direct
communication and then only with those who knew about the bulletin board.
Another limitation was that the bulletin board computer required one modem
per connection. If five people connected simultaneously it would require five
modems connected to five separate phone lines. As the number of people who
wanted to use the system increased, the system was not able to handle the
demand, for example imagine if 500 people wanted to connect at the same time.
Starting in the 1960s and continuing through the 70s 80s and 90s the
Department of Defence (DOD) United States of America, develop large
reliable, wide area network (WAN) for military and scientist reason. This
technology was different from the point – to – point communication used in
bulletin board. It allowed multiple computers to be connected together using
many different paths. The network itself would determine how to move data
from computer to another. Instead of only being able to communicate with one
computer at a time many computers be reached using the same connection. The
DODS WAN eventually became the internet purpose of the computer internet in
the 1950s computers were still very rare, and computer science was in its
infancy. Most technological, advancement during this period, such as
cryptograph, radar and battle field communication were due to military
operations during world war 11, and government activities are at the base of the
development of the internet. Three decades ago, the RAND Corporation
struggled with possible way for us authorities to successfully communicate after
a nuclear war. Their chief concern was that any central network control Centre
might be destroyed by an energy missile. In plan made public in 1964 the
RAND Corporation proposed that the new network have no central authority.
ARPA was a response to the soviets launch of sputnik in 1957, man’s first
intercontinental Ballistic missile in 1958, when NASA was created, ARPA main
focus became computer science and information processing. One goal was to
connect mainframe computer at different universities around the country so that
they would be able to communicate using a common language and protocol.
CHAPTER TWO: LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 THE CONCEPT OF COMPUTER INTERNET: The Internet, sometimes called
simply "the Net," is worldwide system of computer networks. A network of
networks in which users at any one computer can, if theyhave permission, get
information from any othercomputer (and sometimes talk directly to users at
othercomputers).
2.1.1 ADVANTAGEA AND DISADVANTAGES OF INTERNETTHE ADVANTAGES
i. Connectivity, communication, and sharing.
ii.Information, knowledge, and learning.
iii.Address, mapping, and contact information.
iv. Selling and making money.
v.Banking, bills, and shopping.
vi. Donations and funding.
vii.Entertainment.
The Disadvantages
i.Addiction, time-waster, and causes distractions.
ii.Bullying, trolls, stalkers, and crime.
iii. Spam and advertising.
iv. Pornographic and violent images.
v. Never being able to disconnect from work.
vi. Identity theft, hacking, viruses, and cheating.
vii Affects focus and patience.
2.1.2 PURPOSE OF INTERNET
The main purpose of the Internet is to provide globalaccess to data and
communications. Use of the Internetand networking is essential for advancing
research inscience, medicine, engineering and design as well as inmaintaining global
defense and surveillance.
2.1.3 USERS OF INTERNET
A total of 5 billion people around the world usethe internet today – equivalent to 63
percent ofthe world's total population. Internet userscontinue to grow too, with the
latest dataindicating that the world's connected populationgrew by almost 200 million
in the 12 months toApril 2022.
2.1.4 INTERNET APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES.
The Internet carriesmany applications and services, most prominentlythe World Wide
Web, including social media, electronic mail, mobile applications, multiplayeronline
games, Internet telephony, file sharing, and streaming media services.
2.1.5 INTERNET PROTOCOLS
The Internet Protocol (IP) is the network layercommunications protocol in the
Internet protocol suite forrelaying datagrams across network boundaries. Its routing
function enables internet working, and essentially establishes the Internet .IP has the
task of delivering packets from the source hostto the destination host solely based on
the IP addresses inthe packet headers. For this purpose, IP defines packetstructures
that encapsulate the data to be delivered. It alsodefines addressing methods that are
used to label thedatagram with source and destination information.IP was the
connectionless datagram service in the originalTransmission Control Program
introduced by Vint Cerf andBob Kahn in 1974, which was complemented by
aconnection-oriented service that became the basis for theTransmission Control
Protocol (TCP). The Internet protocolsuite is therefore often referred to as
TCP/IP .The first major version of IP, Internet Protocol Version 4(IPv4), is the
dominant protocol of the Internet. Itssuccessor is Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6),
which hasbeen in increasing deployment on the public Internet sincec. 2006. The
Internet Protocol is responsible for addressing hostinterfaces, encapsulating data into
datagrams (includingfragmentation and reassembly ) and routing datagrams froma
source host interface to a destination host interfaceacross one or more IP networks.
[2] For these purposes, the Internet Protocol defines the format of packets
andprovides an addressing system. Each datagram has two components: a header and
apayload. The IP header includes source IP address, destination IP address, and other
metadata needed to routeand deliver the datagram. The payload is the data that
istransported. This method of nesting the data payload in apacket with a header is
called encapsulation.IP addressing entails the assignment of IP addresses
andassociated parameters to host interfaces. The addressspace is divided into sub-
networks, involving the designation of network prefixes. IP routing is performed by
all hosts, as well as routers, whose main function is to transport packetsacross
network boundaries. Routers communicate with oneanother via specially designed
routing protocols, eitherinterior gateway protocols or exterior gateway protocol, as
needed for the topology of the network.
2.1.6 INTERNET PASSWORDSTHE INTERNET PASSWORD: is also called a
Wi-Fi Security Key, a WEP Key, or a WPA/WPA2 Passphrase. This is another name
for thepassword on your modem or router.A Password is a word, phrase, or string
ofcharacters intended to differentiate an authorizeduser or process (for the purpose of
permittingaccess) from an unauthorized user, or put anotherway a password is used to
prove one's identity, orauthorize access to a resource.2.2 The Concept of Business
CentreA Business Centre is a professionally managedcommercial facility that offers
end-to-endbusiness infrastructure for short to medium termdurations . Clients can
choose from a wide rangeof flexible options based on their specific spaceand
infrastructural requirements.2.3 The impact of Internet to the Business
CenterAdvancement in communication and informationtechnology has further
strengthen the role of the internet in business. The internet is widely used
inorganization for marketing and promotion ofproducts and services. The internet is
used todeliver customer support, share information and provide training to
employees.
2.4 STARTING INTERNET IN BUSINESS CENTER
An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is an entity that connectspeople to the internet
and provides other related servicessuch as website building and hosting. An entity
offering transmission, routing or providing ofconnections for digital online
communications, between oramong points specified by a user, of the material of
user’schoice, without modification to the content of the materials sent or

CHAPTER FIVE: CONCLUSION
5.1 INTRODUCTIION
In this chapter is showing the conclusion of the research work of
importance of internet to business center, information system has been with us
for a long time, as the history of internet himself.
Before the use of internet in business center Nigeria will recall that to
communicate with some one that is in a long distance was very difficult but due
to the presence of internet it is now easy to communicate with one another in
any location or distance. And it is faster than, then. On the research we discover
so many things that are been done due to the presence of internet, infarct
internet has brought a lot of achievement to the country itself.
5.2 SUMMARY OF FINDING
Computer internet was stated in the mid – 1950s users with standalone
computers started to share files using modems (Modulator and demodulator) to
connect the computers. The system was not able to handle the demand, for
