Dear Sir / Madam, The Philippine Hospital Infection Control Nurses Association (PHICNA), Inc. will be th holding its 9 Pre- Convention on May 23, 2012 , 8am to 5pm at Richville Hotel , #286 EDSA Crossing, Mandaluyong City, with the theme: "MDRO (Multi-Disciplinary Response to resistant Organisms)". This activity aims to acquaint the participants with the basic principles of Microbiology and the different approaches to be done in relation to managing multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs) which will include environment of care, isolation precautions involved, and the roles of antibiotics and disinfectants. We hope that through this activity we will be able to impart on the participants the roles of the Infection Control Nurse in the management and care of patients with MDRO. In line with this, we would like to invite you, or representative from your institution to attend the said activity. Registration fee is Php 1500 inclusive of am, pm snacks and lunch.
